Chicago, IL (May 14, 2010) — iDEA MEDIA SERVICES, a leader in CD, DVD, Blu-Ray disc replication and packaging, is pleased to be the official media manufacturing partner for the progressive improvisational rock band Umphrey’s McGee. The band retained the help of iDEA MEDIA SERVICES in the manufacturing and printing of the limited edition Hall of Fame Class of 2010 live show audio package, a two DVD set of live recordings. For this DVD, fans selected and voted for their six favorite shows out of the bands touring efforts between 2004 and 2009. The recordings available in this package are both in lossless FLAC format as well as in MP3 format.

We presented Umphrey’s with six unique options for packaging 2 discs. They ended up going with a 6-panel, DVD-sized DigiPak with a dual disc tray in the center panel. We printed the packaging and had the band sign them, then we put it all together and shrink wrapped it. It turned out beautifully!” said Erik Gershfeld, a manager at iDEA MEDIA SERVICES.
