CD Printing
iDEA Media Services have been providing quality CD printing for as long as CDs have been around. CD Printing involves everything from the creation of sleeves or packaging to house your CD product to directly printing information, data or graphics on the CD in a mass reproduction service. Our expert staff can help with design ideas and collaborate with marketing and art departments to come up with some great options specific to your needs.
CD Printing FAQ:
What is the difference between CD labeling and CD Printing?
The simplest answer is that a label is mass produced and then placed and sealed onto the CD. CD Printing involves applying graphics or text directly to the disc.
Which system is better?
Printing onto a disc provides a more permanent, higher quality solution.
How does it work?
In this process we output film negatives from your
artwork. The negatives are lined up and the image is burned onto
aluminium plates. The plates are then loaded into a machine and
ink is pushed over a series of rollers and applied to the discs
as CMYK. iDEA Media is one of only a handful of manufacturers in
the U.S. capable of printing 200 LPI.
